Basic

This course, British Literature, aims at increasing your intellectual knowledge and political background of British literature. A number of texts in fiction, poetry, and drama from the different periods of British history will be explored in relation to culture and history.
The course will also acquaint you with some of the great literary writers—authors, poets, and dramatists—of the periods, including Geoffrey Chaucer, Edmund Spenser, John Milton and amongst other writers

. You are encouraged to develop a keen interest in the contents of this course in order to be conversant with some of the major achievements and breakthroughs in English literary history.
